Do you accept my U.S. dental insurance?
Very likely, yes. We work with major U.S. PPO plans — including MetLife, Aetna, Cigna, Principal, Ameritas, BlueCross BlueShield, Guardian, and First Dental Health, plus many more. Send a photo of your card and your date of birth, and we verify your coverage for free before you travel.
How do I get to the clinic?
We are on Calz. Saratoga in Los Algodones, minutes on foot from the Andrade border crossing (just south of Yuma / Winterhaven). Most patients park in the large lot on the U.S. side and walk across — no vehicle paperwork, no driving in Mexico needed.
What should I bring?
Your passport (required to re-enter the U.S.), your dental insurance card if you have one, and a list of any medications you take. If you have recent X-rays or a treatment plan from another dentist, bring those too — comparing is free.
How many trips will my treatment take?
It depends on the treatment: cleanings, fillings, and many crowns finish quickly, while implants need a healing period between placement and final crowns. We plan the fewest trips possible and tell you the full schedule — in writing — before you commit.
How does payment and reimbursement work?
You pay the clinic for your treatment, and we prepare an itemized invoice with U.S. treatment codes. Where your plan allows, we bill directly; otherwise, you submit our invoice for reimbursement. Either way, the paperwork is done right the first time.
